About Aerion

Pm 2.5 – A Silent Killer
As we go about our daily lives, we cannot see this silent killer known as particulate matter of the size, 2.5 microns or less. To draw a comparison, the diameter of a human hair strand is about 50-70 microns.
Pm 2.5 dust particles are released mainly through emissions from vehicles, factories, burning of coal, manufacturing, etc. Due to continuous exposure, pm 2.5 particles can enter through our nose, into our lungs and eventually our blood stream. Short term effects could be headache, sore throat, high blood pressure, tiredness. Long term issues could affect the lungs and heart.
