Everytime I visited my family and friends in India, it constantly bothered me how air pollution affects their health and lifestyle every day. Couple of years ago, I decided to apply my engineering and product development expertise to build a device that can help us breathe clean air outdoors. I partnered with aerosol experts to identify a suitable technology and gathered a small team of passionate engineers to create the world’s first portable head-mounted air purifier using miniaturized electrostatic precipitation (ESP) technology.
